CV
September 2019 - present
Post-doctoral researcher at Université de Rennes 1
I am currently working within the Marie Skłodowska Curie Actions project UnsatPorMix, supervised by Dr. Yves Méheust and Dr. Tanguy Le Borgne. This project aims to study the impact of porous medium heterogeneity on solute dispersion and mixing during unsaturated flow. You can learn more on the project's page.
August 2018 - August 2019
Post-doctoral researcher at Ben Gurion University of the Negev
Under the supervision of Profs. Noam Weisbrod and Avraham Be'er, I studied the impact of rock surface heterogeneity on colloid transport in fractured chalk at the laboratory scale, coupling a flow cell with natural chalk samples with a fluorescence microscope.
October 2012 - August 2018
PhD student at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem
During my PhD, under the supervision of Dr. Ran Holtzman and with the help of many collaborators, I studied the impact of porous medium heterogeneity and solid matrix deformations on drainage and drying processes. You can read more about the different projects I've worked on in the Reseach section.
October 2009 - September 2012
MSc in Soil and Water Sciences at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem
During my Master's degree, under the supervision of Prof. Benny Chefetz, I studied the impact of compost amendment in soils and the solution chemistry on the transport of pharmaceutical compounds, using column experiments.
